Free Family Yoga in Patterson Park –  Wednesday, November 15 from 11 to 11:45 a.m. Supported by Austin Parks Foundation. Third Thursday –  Thursday, November 16 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. We have an eclectic mix of art-fueled activities for November’s Third Thursday, including our “Dancing with Death” exhibition — now on view! Join us for a day filled with FREE events — from live music to tours. Museum admission is always free on Thursdays, and on the third Thursday of each month the museum remains open until 9 p.m.

Art, Beer, Cocktails & Tapas! –  Thursday, November 16 from 6 to 8 p.m. Austin-based artist, Mila Sketch, won Oskar Blues Brewery’s first-ever CANvas CANpaign. Her design will be featured on one million cans of clean drinking water, which will be distributed post-disaster in partnership with Ball Corporation and Oskar Blues Brewery. Help us celebrate Mila and the top five finalists by sippin’ on hand-crafted Oskar Blues beer cocktails and noshing on an assortment of delectable tapas. KUTX Live at Mueller –  Friday, November 17 at 7 p.m. Rock the amphitheater at Mueller Lake Park this fall with another round of family friendly concerts curated by KUTX and Spare the Rock, Spoil the Child. The FREE fun starts at 7 p.m. with a kid-friendly act, followed by rock and roll for the grown-ups. This week’s acts include Sugar-Free Allstars and Sweet Spirit. Food trucks, fun, and live music on the lake!

Mozart’s Christmas Light Show Begins – Friday, November 17 from 6-11 p.m. Mozart’s Christmas Light Show goes immersive this year! New in 2017, the FREE light extravaganza will get a new immersive, interactive experience surrounded by more than one million LED lights. Come with eager eyes and ears! For refreshment, Mozart’s acclaimed coffee and hot chocolate, as well as special holiday goodies, can be purchased inside the coffee house and kiosks outdoors. More than 20 choirs from local schools and community groups have been tapped this year to sing Christmas songs that range from traditional to “rock-the-deck” tunes.
