- Holiday Model Train Show – Wednesday, November 25 and Friday, November 27 from 12-5 p.m. The trains are back! Last year, over 7,000 people visited ArtSpace to see the model train show and local artwork. The train display is designed and operated by the Austin Tinplate Trackers. - Blue Genie Art Bazaar – Friday, November 27 from 10 a.m. – 10 p.m. The annual four-week holiday shopping extravaganza returns for its 15th year. Featuring more than 200 Texas artists, the bazaar offers FREE admission and a hassle-free shopping environment. All items featured at the bazaar must be handmade and include paintings, photography, prints, sculptures, jewelry, clothing, glassworks, and more. Santa on the Terrace – Friday, November 27 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Bring the kids for a FREE photo with Santa and Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, overlooking the best view in Austin! Kick off the holidays and take a break from mall madness this Black Friday when Santa Claus comes to the Long Center. Sip delicious hot chocolate, enjoy some of Austin’s most delicious food trucks, and kick off the holiday season with Rudolph! Weather permitting; pictures are on a first-come first-serve basis.
