  2. BookPeople’s Fantastical Spring Puppet Show – Wednesday, March 25 at 10:30 a.m. BookPeople’s talented performers will be doing a lively rendition of the adorable book Pearl and Wagner: One Funny Day. It is a story all about April Fools’ Day. FREE! BookPeople, 603 N Lamar, Austin.

Step Into Spring: Community Night at The Thinkery – Wednesday, March 25, from 4-8 p.m. Enjoy special performances and activities presented by the City of Austin during Community Night on Wednesday, March 25 (and again on April 1). Community Night is from 4-8 pm and special programming begins at 4:30. Admission is by donation only. Entry is based on a first come, first served basis. The March 25 event features: merry-go-round and butterfly fun with Austin Bike Zoo, engineering and racing activities by the Tinkering School, DJ booth by Dub Academy, Polka Dot Disco Party with DJ Mahealani, Soul Sessions break dancing demos, screen printing by the Mexic-Arte Museum Screen It! program, and poetry readings by The Texas Empowerment Academy. Music on Main Street (Round Rock) – Wednesday, March 25, from 6-8 p.m. The City of Round Rock is sponsoring Music on Main Street, Wednesdays through May. Charles Thibodeaux and the Austin Cajun Aces perform Cajun music on Wednesday, March 25. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and the entire family. FREE!  Main Street Plaza Stage, 221 East Main Street, Round Rock.
  5. Metz Movies Under the Stars: Big Hero 6 – Friday, March 27 at dusk. Bring your lawn chairs, blankets and snacks to enjoy an outdoor movie at Metz Park. One FREE popcorn and drink per person. FREE! Metz Recreation Center, 2704 Canterbury St., Austin.
