Top 5 Free Weekday Events in Austin: November 6-10, 2017

Who says all of the fun that Austin has to offer has to be saved for the weekend? This list will have you falling for fall quicker than the leaves can turn burnt orange! Free Monday Tango Night –  Monday, November 6 from 8 to 11 p.m. Everyone is welcome to a fun Tango Night at Native Hostel and Bar & Kitchen. The evening starts with an intro lesson to authentic Argentine Tango (no experience or partner needed) and follows with two hours filled with social dancing and music by wonderful guest DJs. An Evening With Shawn Johnson –  Wednesday, November 8 at 7 p.m. Olympic gymnast and gold medalist Shawn Johnson will speak on values and ethics in a lectureship presentation hosted by the Beta Eta Chapter of Delta Gamma at the University of Texas at Austin. This event will be FREE to the general public. 2nd Street Social –  Thursday, November 9 from 5 to 8 p.m. 2nd Street Social is a monthly event where shoppers can find special deals at stores and restaurants in the 2nd Street District, all while enjoying FREE sips.
