The 2014 Austin Chronicle Hot Sauce Festival

The Austin Chronicle Hot Sauce Festival is the world’s largest festival of its kind, drawing as many as 15,000 spectators and more than 350 entries every year. This year, the spicy celebration will take place on Sunday, August 24, 2014, from noon to 5 p.m., at Fiesta Gardens.

Come for the hot sauce and stay for the music!


Bands:

  • 3:30-4:45 p.m. – LaTasha Lee and the BlackTies
  • 2:15-3:15 p.m. – El Tule
  • 1:15-2 p.m. – Gumbo Se Coir
  • 12:15-1 p.m. – Rosie and the Ramblers

This event is FREE to the public with a donation of three healthy, nonperishable food items (or a $5 cash donation) to the Capital Area Food Bank of Texas. The Hot Sauce Festival is a major fundraiser for the Capital Area Food Bank of Texas.


Free parking will be available across from Plaza Saltillo, at the northwest corner of Fourth & Waller, for Hot Sauce Festival attendees. Capital Metro will provide free shuttles from this location to the festival grounds and back again.
