Celebrate the waters of Central Texas at the Texas Wild Rice Festival in San Marcos on Saturday, April 11, 2015, from 12-11 p.m. This interactive, educational, and environmental festival is free for the whole family!

The mission of the Texas Wild Rice Festival is to encourage Central Texans to protect the sensitive San Marcos River ecosystem and its connected sister springs in Austin, New Braunfels, and San Antonio, and the Edwards Aquifer that feeds them. Inspiring people of all ages with fun, interactive workshops, guided river hikes, films, live music, crafts, and creative and performing arts, the festival will provide opportunities to learn, work and play together as a community.
