Homeschool Day at Pioneer Farms, Friday, September 13, 2013 — Travel back in time and explore Texas history at Pioneer Farms, with historical demonstrations, reenactments, and fun and games for kids of all ages. Home School Day at SeaWorld San Antonio, October 3, 2013, from 9:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. The cost to attend is $8 per student and/or adult participant. Bring your homeschooled children to SeaWorld for special groups-only hours. Visit with the dolphins, sharks, seals and sea lions. You’ll also attend special animal presentations designed specifically for education groups. Bring your own lunch and your group can enjoy a picnic in the park. School Days at the Texas Renaissance Festival, November 5 and 6, 2013 — Open to all public, private, and homeschool educators and students, School Days is offered exclusively as an educational opportunity. Students will experience a 16th century English village, interact with King Henry VIII and his queen, and many other costumed characters. Students will have the opportunity to learn courtly dances, the ancient art of falconry, the history of arms and armor, and more. Admission is $8 per person, and lunch tickets can be purchased for $9 per person, or you may bring a packed lunch or purchase other food and drink at vendors throughout the park.
