RF Shannon’s latest single, “Had A Revelation,” has just been released alongside a visually stunning music video. Playing folk and blues music with an atmospheric touch, Shannon takes his listeners on a journey that explores musical ideas that we don’t normally hear in Austin’s rock and country scenes. With a simple video, the song locks in the listener so that they can feel the track’s relaxed vibe, making it a stimulating listen. Shannon released his EP, Other Trails, in October. The EP’s music sets the tone for the chilly days ahead, making it a brilliantly done release that captures plenty of emotion along the way.
