There’s nothing Austinites love more than music played outdoors in a scenic venue. That’s why Austin Civic Orchestra is bringing back its ever-popular, free, two-night summer concert at the Sheffield Hillside Theater in Zilker Park!
Join Austin Civic Orchestra on the Zilker hillside Friday, June 10 or Saturday, June 11, 2016 at 8 p.m. for Oscar Winners, a free summer concert under the stars!
This evening of live music will feature scores that have won an Academy Award. Enjoy music from films such as Frozen, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, The Wizard of Oz and many more!
“These concerts are our annual gift to the whole city of Austin,” says ACO Music Director, Dr. Lois Ferrari. “Kicking off the summer with a free concert at Zilker Park is about as ‘Austin’ as it gets, and we think this music from a wide variety of movies will be fun for all ages!”
