New Year’s Eve Fire Risk Remains High Despite Rainy Season

There’s always so many different types of fireworks to choose from to help light up the new year.

Whenever fireworks are lit, there’s always a danger. For the past few years, the biggest threat is weather–dry conditions in Central Texas leads to breeding grounds for a wildfire. However this year, we’ve seen a whole lot of rain. Even though we’ve seen a wetter season, firefighters say they’re seeing more fuel for fire.
