Midsummer Night’s Boat Parade with Minor Mishap Marching Band

Minor Mishap Marching Band is having a water parade! On the evening of Sunday, July 13, 2014, the whole band will be in boats, and the whole audience will be in boats! Join a huge flotilla out in the middle of Lady Bird Lake, under a full moon, and enjoy the music!

You can bring your own boat or you can rent one, but you must be in a boat to participate. The boats will all be tied together in the middle of the lake for the concert. No swimming or tubing! Wear life jackets and be safe!

Rowing Dock is renting boats for this event and the proceeds will benefit the Texas River School, a children’s river safety education organization.
(Update: The Rowing Dock boats are all spoken for, so you’ll need to bring your own boat.)

A group paddle will depart from Rowing Dock at 8 p.m. Arrive at around 7 p.m. to get your boat ready. The flotilla will converge in the middle of the lake around 8:30 p.m.

This event is free. For more information, visit the Minor Mishap Marching Band website or the Facebook event page.
