The Round Rock Veteran’s Coalition and City of Round Rock invite the entire community to honor and remember those who sacrificed all for our country at a Memorial Day Ceremony taking place at the new Yonders Point Plaza.

Dr. Thomas R. Cole will speak about his book No Color is My Kind. The work focuses on Elderwey Stearns, a civil rights leader and lawyer in Houston’s desegregation movement.

People’s Gallery Exhibition

Join Austin City Hall for an opening reception to celebrate the 17th Exhibition of the People’s Gallery at City Hall. The exhibition features paintings, sculptures, drawings, and other media by local artists. View artworks throughout City Hall, meet the artists, and enjoy light refreshments and live music. Music will be provided by local artist JC Stringz.
