Callie HillMolly still not found. Posted on San Marcos Regional Shelter Lost/Found page. She is chipped, but the chip is likely not registered (working on it). She is spayed. No collar/no tags. Very strange for her to run off as she is a homebody/loves to lay on patios/concrete. Will put up signs today. Continually checking AAC Lost/Found page throughout the days.

I highly recommend that you go down to AAC in person to see if the dog listed above is Mollie. OPEN 11-7 EVERY DAY! Take photos/proof of ownership and your driver's license to reclaim her! There is no suffering. Vet told me it happens far more often than people realize, and probably happened shortly after he disappeared. It sounds like the same thing happened to Winston. FOUND: JULY 21ST.

-Admin approved for a new post.-
My kitty has been missing since September 12th 2016
I never knew if she just ran off and got lost or if she was purposely taken. Well my worst nightmare came true and my step dad took her and dropped her off behind the HEB on w.m cannon and bluff springs very far from where I live. If anyone can please post to their next door in that area you dont know how much I would appreciate it from deep in my heart Im attaching pictures and info
Her name is Chanel , she is petite a tabby with more of the yellow coloring in her fur. She has no stripes on her paws they are brown. She has a black stripe on top of her head her stripes are mostly on the upper part of her legs and tail her body not so much , she isnt chipped and not fixed , she is about a yr and a half years old.
She is sweet but since she is so far from home she is most likely scared and will run. If anyone sees her please contact me right away my cell is 512.430.8437 thank you!

LOST CAT in Westlake

This is Aneesa. Sometime late Monday night/Tuesday morning she snuck out a window from my home on Ripple Creek Dr., which is in Westlake off Pinnacle Rd. near the Westbank Library.

Shes on the small side, a typical brown/black tabby around 5 years old. Shes not wearing a collar.

If you think you may have seen her, please call or text me at 512-743-8376. Shes an excellent climber, so she may be up a tree or on your roof.

She probably wont just wander up to strangers (unless shes hungry), but if you see her you can make friends with her. Thank you!

Erin BoyleInside only cats are almost always hiding nearby. Tell all your neighbors and put up neon poster board lost cat signs. Leave a window, garage or door open to your house if possible for them to reenter. Put some of your dirty cloths outside so they can use them to smell their way home. Look in trees, on roofs, and under/in everything. Use a flashlight at late night to look for eyes. Fear can make even the most tame cat act feral so some need to be trapped. It is also not uncommon for them to be missing for over a week before they come out of hiding. I don't recommend putting their litter box or food outside because it can attract other cats and wildlife that might run off or harm your cat.

FOUND kitten. This is the kitten who was in front of CVS last night at South Lamar and Oltorf. Ben Cohen pulled him out of the storm drain. He is a boy. Not microchipped. Thanks Amber Lawson for sending out the plea for help. I filed a FOUND Report with 311 yesterday. I am unclear whether that: 1. Gets him posted on the AAC website; and/or 2. Counts toward the three-day stray hold. Does anyone know?

Beverly LunaKyra, the tags should lead you to the owner. You can call the vet on the Rabies tag and give them the tag number. They are required by law to keep records of owner information. Also, you can contact the city animal services of the city on the tag and give them that tag number and they should be able to assist as well. Thank you so much for helping this sweetie get home! Please post on NextDoor ASAP. You can take them to get scanned for a microchip for free at any vet. Take a picture of the number on the scan result. When you get this dog checked for a microchip, make sure the whole body is scanned as chips can migrate. If you file a found animal report and upload a picture at 311.austintexas.gov/reports/new?service_id=5579f05447199e0be4000074, the picture will show up in the Austin Animal Center database which will help in case someone is looking there for their dog. Please read the link in full and post in the all the places recommended for their best chance at getting home. LOST DOG UPDATE*****STILL LOST***

****This is Michis most recent photos before she went missing and a photo of her in her harness.

**** Just been told it was a Mexican woman in a maroon or wine colored van/vehicle around 40-50 years old, possibly brown hair, medium build, and was the one driving and rushed away with Michi. So if you see someone with this dog in their yard or walking a dog who looks similar to Michi, take a photo then please contact me. The person who took Michi could act like if they are the owner.

I am helping my friend find her lost dog. Her name is Michi and she is a mix breed. She has been missing just yesterday at 06/6/17 at 4-5 P.M. She was last seen with a pink harness on, walking along side the S Pleasant Valley Road. Unfortunately Michi does not have a collar on nor is microchip but just had a hair cut (so its shorter). She is very friendly but bites when shes playing (like in the photos). Please help me bring her back home to my friend Diana Padron.

Ill update more information later on today. But please please PLEASE!! Keep a look out for her.

If you had see her or even have her, contact me at (512)903-5252 or send me an email at ssillero16.ss@gmail.com

Ok, guys...I have a plea for funds to help a pup with a very sad story. Sharon Waterman, Beth Simmons and I helped to trap this little lady this past Wednesday. A very sweet couple, the Ivys, had been feeding her and her father for somewhere around 6 months. When they started, there was a mother, a small lab, and a second pup. The mom and the other pup have since disappeared. I set up a capture area for the remaining pup and her dad, a large black shepherd, and worked for a couple of weeks with the Ivys to get the pair used to eating early in the morning in the capture area. On Wednesday, we caught them both. The dad, Blacky, was skittish, but once we had him, fairly calm. Turns out he had been on the lam for at least the third time and was chipped at AAC previously. His little girl, though, has likely never been touched by humans. She immediately shut down once she was trapped...trying to make herself as small as possible and crawl into a corner of the capture area. It was a fight with a catchpole to get her into a crate.
Today Blackys owner picked him up at AAC. But he said he had no knowledge of the little girl and didnt want her. So she is still there, alone and terrified and without the only companion she has had in her short life. Dogs like this do not do well in the shelter...they are often fear-aggressive and do not get adopted easily.
We got her to safety, but now we need to do right by her and help her transition into a new life with humans. ATX K9, who previously worked with us on Denver, has some space and will take her for a month to work on her socialization. But we need to raise the funds to send her there. It will cost $800 to get through the month of training and then well need some funds for vetting. If we all come together, we can help this lady become a family dog and find a new forever home.
If you are able, please donate to our PayPal fund at the link below. Thanks to all of you who help us make a difference in these dogs lives! ❤️🐾

Lost cat: This is my beautiful cat Asia. Shes been missing for two days now. I believe she ran out of the house and is lost now. She is two years old. Shes a Tortie. I adopted Asia from the Austin Animal Center as a small kitten. She was a stray and was very skittish and scared. Even after two years she would still spook easily. Im sick with worry over my big girl being gone. Shes a large cat with a squishy under belly. Shes very well fed. She doesnt like being held much but loves to cuddle in bed. We live in South Austin off Stassney and Terri. If anyone sees her please let me know. Ive been looking for her in our neighborhood and in trees but no luck yet. My next stop is the animal shelter. Keeping my hopes up that shell be found.

Ellen MarcusShe is probably very close by if she's an indoor cat. Search after dark with a flashlight. Wear stinky clothes so she'll hopefully catch your scent. Put her bedding with stinky clothes outside to help her find her way home, though she's probably very close and too scared to come out of hiding. We highly recommend that everyone searching for lost cats buy Kim Freeman's eBook and video. She has valuable search tips and ALFP members get a discount. l.facebook.com/l.php?u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.lostcatfinder.com%2Faustinlostcatmembers&h=ATP7lNdJ4BdUTX...

Cassi 'Heisler' LawrenceHey Teresa! Thanks for keeping this sweetie safe while looking for their owner. Have you posted on Nextdoor? A neighbor may recognize them and know where they belong. As far as a chip scan, we may be able to find someone to come by, since as skiddish as they are right now, they may bolt during transport and be lost in an unknown area. LOST CAT, Willowbrook/Cherrywood neighborhood. Our sweet, shy, male 5 year-old orange tabby, Toulouse, disappeared while we were out of town for a month and a house sitter was taking care of our pets. Hes been missing for at least a week, maybe longer. Were not sure the pet sitter is being honest about how long hes been gone. He is microchipped but we recently moved so the information was inaccurate until I updated it this week when we found out he was gone. We miss him so much! Grateful to anyone who helps us reunite or has any information. Thanks!

Beverly LunaRubith, So sorry your pet is missing. Post on NextDoor ASAP. Place some of you or your family's dirty laundry outside (stinky socks, work clothes, etc). If your pet is in the area, it can help them smell their way home. If they have a bed or crate, place that outside as well. Leave some water out for them. Please see these tips to maximize the chance of finding them and update your post with requested info. Make sure you post in both sections of Craigslist (lost/found and pets) as well as on Nextdoor too. Posting flyers immediately is one of the best things you can do to get your pet home. austin.com/lost-found-pet-austin-heres-need-first/

Cassi 'Heisler' LawrenceThank you so much for helping this sweetie get home. Post on Nextdoor ASAP if you live in the area where they were found. If not, we can probably find someone who does. Can you take him to get scanned for a chip? This is a free service that can be done at any vet clinic. No appointment needed. Just be sure they scan the whole body. There is an ER vet clinic that is open right now off of Frontier Trails in South Austin that could scan him. Please read the link in full and post in the all the places recommend for their best chance at getting home. Also, add any missing info we require by clicking the down arrow in the upper right corner. Hopefully they will be reunited soon! -admin austin.com/lost-found-pet-austin-heres-need-first/

Beverly LunaMadai, given the area found, contact the Austin Animal Center at 512-978-0500 and see if this could be Kovu. As this dog is injured, he may not show up in the online database right away. Give them the case numbers on the report. Looks like they picked up the dog around 10:30 this morning.

Cassi 'Heisler' LawrenceHave you posted them on Nextdoor? It’s quite possible they already have an owner in your neighborhood, so really a new home is not necessary. A chip scan is the next step. If you cannot safely transport them, we may be able to find someone to come scan. Please read the link in full and post in the all the places recommend. Melanie MartinezIf he's an adult, the fox probably won't mess with him. They don't like to tangle with critters with teeth and claws. Coyotes will, however. I hope you find a home for him. Kinda looks like he has ringworm or severe mosquito allergies on his nose. Poor guy!

2 days ago   ·  2
Avatar

Kathy MuelkerI bet the cat has an owner missing him. There are several similar black & white cats reported missing. As Melanie said, it looks like he might have ringworm or possibly just an injury on his nose. I would not worry about a fox going after that cat. Other 'bully' cats are more of a concern - especially if this kitty is accustomed to being an indoor cat. Ceci - can you edit your post and include the nearest cross streets? I want to check and see if any similar missing cats have been posted in that general area.

Sable MillerA new cat that is getting beat up is usually a lost cat. The local cats that are territorial will beat him til they kill him. Can you find a way to capture him and keep him safe? Maybe lure with food into a carrier. The cat needs help. I can only see the ears and nose and it looks like defense wounds. If the front legs are scratched up and stained with blood those are defense wounds also meaning the cat is defending not attacking and he is in trouble.

Anna LedouxThose are not fight wounds. That is mosquito bite hypersensitivity. Very common in our area this time of year and in the right cat it takes very little time to look like this (or worse) Note: emergency veterinarian by trade... see this all the time But still think he needs to find his people 🙂

Sable MillerHi Ceci, I've read the notes and sorry there seems to be so many trusts issues. I have never met anyone in the group in person but I can tell after communicating with this group over the last couple of months. This is a group of people who selflessly provide help to anyone who asks. They don't get paid and don't deserve anything but kindness and respect. You won't be disappointed and they will do what is needed to make sure the cat is safe and cared for.

Erin BoyleYou should also consider speaking to a pet detective or buying her book/video. You can get her video along with the ebook directly from her website for $25. If you follow all her instructions and still don't find your cat then there is a money back guarantee on the book/video. Many of our members have gotten their cat back by following Kim's advice. I have used her book to help find lost cats too. It will be money well spent. She is also offering 10% off to our group members. www.lostcatfinder.com/austinlostcatmembers

Erin BoyleInside only cats are almost always hiding nearby. Tell all your neighbors and put up neon poster board lost cat signs. Leave a window, garage or door open to your house if possible for them to reenter. (like the window she escaped from) Put some of your dirty cloths outside so they can use them to smell their way home.

These cats have been seen multiple times in my cove. The orange cat seems to be a bit older, and theres 4 grey kittens that have appeared in the last month or so. Me and my roommates are all allergic to cats and arent much help in keeping them. Any way I can get someone to come get them? All really skinny and hungry. Taken in the Riverside/Ben White area.
