Erin BoyleSo sorry your pet is missing. Please see these tips to maximize the chance of finding him and update your post with requested info if anything is missing. Make sure you post in both sections of Craigslist (lost/found and pets) as well as on Nextdoor too. Posting flyers immediately is one of the best things you can do to get your pet home. Please do not delete your post if you find your pet. Just update the top to say Reunited. It helps us track outcomes. Dianna MarieCan someone help with the nextdoor app, I do not live in Del Valle. I'm going to post reward flyers this afternoon. I just can't figure out where to put my daughter's clothing. It's way too far from home. If for some reason he's able to run free someone else will take him. I don't know anyone in Del, Valle. I think I could trust 2 people in the neighborhood to put a crate. The only problem is Flame would have to pass all the people that see $$$ when Flame passes by. This neighbor is really scary, the sheriff's said why did I pick close to dawn to be in this area? And why in the h*** did I choose a drug infested area? I told him I didn't know the area until I actually got there. I didn't see the exact area of her post until later. We were searching and asking people in a community subdivision until I actually paused and read the location on her post around 5pm. I'm so scared someone's gonna harm him, inject him with whatever they use. These majority of the neighborhood is dirty with trash, the people are on drugs roaming streets, people sleeping outside, they are dirty, skinny. I'm sure there's no food or clean water for Flame. I just don't know what to do, the sheriff's said we may as well kiss him goodbye, the people in the neighborhood will sell him for a quick fix.

Dianna MarieThe gray Honda was following us, we saw the car at the man's house next to the woman that had Flame. We talked to the man that lives next to the woman. We gave him a flyer told him about the reward, no question asked no police involved. He said he'll do some snooping around. We lost them in traffic, we are going back to the neighborhood to see if they may have brought Flame to him.

Dianna MarieOkay, we talked to the guy where we saw the car at. He said the guy (Deadwood's) family is suppose to go to his house tonight. He said will talk to Deadwood's family members and get some info. He also said he will definitely call us tomorrow morning cause he can see my daughter needs her dog back. 🤞🤞🙏🙏

Update: Reunited!

Found Dog

Posting on behalf of a friend who isn't a member yet. Found tonight near South 1st and Stassney area. He's leaving town very early and needs someone who can come pick her up tonight, help look for owners, have her scanned tomorrow, etc. Are any volunteers near him who would help out? She must have someone looking for her! He's not on Nextdoor either, so if someone in that part of town could post there?
His phone # is 215-630-1559. Another pic is in the comments.

Erin BoyleSince he is going blind it would be easy for him to get lost outside. He may have been chased away from the areas he is familiar with. If that's the case he will stick close to the new area and be afraid to try to come home. Posting up flyers to get sightings is a good start and he can try putting his dirty Laundry out to see if he can smell it to find his way home.

Found a person who rescued this malnourished dog off side of road and is now rehoming it. Not sure of the breed. No mention if they have checked it for a microchip or tried to find original owner. Post is in the FB group Pets For Sale & Adoption in Austin.

Is this somebodys lost dog?

Valerie HensonThe flyers posted on RR 620 and in the area of Hudson Bend I put up. They have my contact info on them. I am working with the rescue group Western Australian Shepherd Rescue on her recovery. I was told I would be contacted immediately if someone called one of the phone numbers posted. Melinda Peinado Atkinson Andrea Greig. If anyone else would like to put up more flyers there are about 50 more of them at Four Paws Pet Hospital. Contact me and I'll let you know what areas have been covered, thank you.

He is very friendly, chipped, and always hangs out at Founders Park (right behind my place) in Dripping Springs. He is loved very much in my family. Thank y’all

If you haven't registered the microchip yourself, do it right away. Your vet should have the number. Please place your pet's bed/crate/blankets on the porch. Place some of you or your family's dirty laundry outside (stinky socks, dirty sheets, work clothes, etc). If your pet is in the area, it can help them smell their way home. This is my AAC foster Chelsea, I’m posting here just in case, she had a home at some point and that’s obvious. I have no idea where she was found as I wasn’t given those notes.
She’s very sweet, calm, and well behaved.

**REUNITED**
AAC animal control found Blaire today somewhere on Manchaca around noon. She is back home with us. Thank you to everyone who shared this post and advised me on things that I could do to better our chance of finding her. I am so happy and relieved to have her back where she belongs.

LOST DOG

Blaire got away from us last night around 9pm in the Asher apartment complex in south Austin located at IH-35 and slaughter creek overpass. She is a two-year old 60lbs Rhodesian ridgeback mix. She has reddish-brown fur with a with patch on her chest and a spay tattoo on her belly. She unfortunately was not wearing her collar with ID tags but is wearing her training collar from SitMeansSit and is microchipped and registered on found.com. She is very sweet and will happily approach people, dogs, and children. My contact info is:

We noticed the Dane is in heat while we were at AAC. Pretty sure they are not from the same family.

Just caught these two walking down Burnet. They were right outside the Marq on Burnet apts and attempted to go back to an apartment patio but no one was around. Not sure if they are together or just both unfixed because he keeps trying to hump her (he is def not fixed). No microchips. On the way to AAC now.

Erin BoyleInside only cats are almost always hiding nearby. Tell all your neighbors and put up neon poster board lost cat signs. Leave a window, garage or door open to your house if possible for them to reenter. Put some of your dirty cloths outside so they can use them to smell their way home. Look under and in everything. Use a flashlight at night to look for eyes. Fear can make even the most tame cat act feral so some need to be trapped. It is also not uncommon for them to be missing for over a week before they come out of hiding. I don't recommend putting their litter box or food outside because it can attract other cats and wildlife that might run off or harm your cat.

Beverly LunaSo sorry your pet is missing. Post on NextDoor ASAP If your pet is microchipped, contact the microchip company and update the info right away. Leave some water out for them. Please see these tips to maximize the chance of finding them and update your post with requested info. Make sure you post in both sections of Craigslist (lost/found and pets) as well as on Nextdoor. Posting flyers immediately is one of the best things you can do to get your pet home. austin.com/lost-found-pet-austin-heres-need-first/

Teresa CastilloNone. She's my neighbors cousins pup. I feel so bad for her. She just wants her fur baby back.

Kathy MuelkerVanessa Garansuay - here’s the original post for Dory. Please continue to use this post for all updates and comments - rather than making a new (duplicate) post. This group only permits one post per pet - to be fair to everyone posting here. Duplicate posts can cause confusion and other issues. You can place the flyer image in this thread for reference. Thank you.

UPDATE: FOUND!!!

We just moved to manor last week. He got out of the backyard. He is lost and scared 😢

He is a rat terrier mix.
2 years old, weighs about 10lbs.
Almost all black, little bit of white on his chest and chin. Paws are black. He has a small scar on his face above his eye.
He is very nervous and will most likely crouch down when you approach him, probably pee a little.
He is microchipped.

Beverly LunaJessie, can you type out the basic info about Barkley (including breed), so that when someone sees a dog that could be Barkley, they can easily search and find your post?
