Terri GosnellI've been ;popping in and out all day and I'm amazed at the concern and response over this poor dear. I hope the owners find out what happened and get some closure. The body was gone when I left work around 5 today and even though it's just an empty shell, I feel better that he's not out baking in the sun anymore. Thanks to everyone that got busy on this.

I have a sweet black and white cat that eats breakfast and dinner with my outdoor cats almost everyday now for the last 2 week. I thought it was my neighbors cats until I seen both of them in my backyard. I seen a posting off Thomas Springs RD somewhat across from the Taco Trailer that looks like the cat hanging out with my backyard during the morning and evening hours. My husband pointed out the sign but i didnt get out of the truck to see if there way a phone number to call, plus it looked like an old sign. I would love for this girl/boy to find home again.

***LOST CAT***
Missing since: February 12th, 2017.
Last seen: Round Rock. Specifically Round Rock West neighborhood, off of Creekview Drive.

Vincent is a male tabby cat, with a unique circular pattern on his side. Hes about one and a half. Hes a chunky boy, when he went missing he was around 17 pounds... though he obviously could have dropped some weight by now. Vincent is microchipped, with up to date information on file. When he went missing he was wearing a black collar with a bell. He has a very good temperament, good around other animals and people- just a bit on the skittish side. He is extremely fearful of cars.

Weve posted to Nextdoor, Craigslist, handed out an obscene amount of flyers, posted orange flyers throughout the neighborhood...

Please keep an eye out for our sweet Vinny. If you see him please call or text Matthew at (512) 289-8163.

Update: still missing as of 5/31
I keep seeing deceased pet posts. Often times there isnt a description in the report. It breaks my heart to think one of these could be our pup. it also hurts to think someone else may be keeping her as their own.

How would you ever know if one of the deceased pets is your missing pet? Any experience with this? You can Privately message me so we dont flood the comments on the post.

Thank you in advance.

Here is the information for my missing ENGLISH BULL TERRIER.
Thanks for sharing ❤️
Lost in AUSTIN, TX please repost.

Crossroads lost near: S. Congress @ East William Cannon. at Willow Brook apartments near I-35

Has left leg injury and will be limping. If seen please call so a professional or relative can approach to pick her up.

Requires medication and attention from the family to survive. Probably very hungry and likes to snack on a small bite of cheese or Rachael Ray pet food

Alternative numbers: 832-660-8100, 832-790-1372, 832-518-0334, 832-518-7553

Got out without her collar please note she is not a stray.

Microchipped but to previous owner? We dont have the microchip number

Name is China, pronounced CHEENAH

Will most likely be scared and untouchable so please approach carefully or follow, until you can call a relative or professional to pick her up. Most likely hiding behind or beneath something, in a quiet area.

We are offering a high dollar amount cash reward in order to obtain her. Please do the right thing because she will not survive without her FAMILY and medication! ❤️ help us bring our family pet of 10+ years home.

Gianna Marie NavarroMy dad is still up there and is going to walk all through the woods near where she went missing to see if there are quiet hiding places. There is a possibility they could take our other dog to help. She is a LOUD baby Pitt who is excited and will bark at all the squirrels and such. So we will see, maybe faster for them to get around without her we have to decide how we can be most efficient.

Chris StephanThere is a homeless community in the woods behind the apts. Your dad should be mindful of that for his safety. I was able to give a flyer to a homeless couple I encountered on the street; they said they would search and spread the word. Also gave flyers to a couple of nearby businesses and left them at homes and school bldg. that back up to the woods. Sure hope this leads to a sighting soon.

LOST Dog
BINKLEY

Home: Sage Creek neighborhood in Teravista, Georgetown - Just north of Westinghouse

Date Missing: 6.21.17

Last Seen: 3pm 6.21.17: Blue Agave Ln, Teravista, Georgetown

Dachshund, very muscular
13, Male, Neutered
Chocolate/Brown, Tan paws and chin, Gray in face

Not Microchipped

Owners: Corrie 512-948-0868 / Clint 214-755-5048

Binkley is scared of a lot things. He will usually bark at people who approach him, but he will not bite. If you see him sit and call his name to get him to come to you, better yet, play off of his only and only trick - point your finger at him and say bang, youre dead Binkley and he will roll over. He does it for anyone.

Went missing from my backyard 6.21.17. Ive posted all over, visited the shelters, put out posters, and searched for him in the Neighborhood (Teravista - Georgetown) the last two days. No luck. We miss him and his older brother would like him to come home to be his bed buddy.

LOST CAT: MILWOOD: Neighborhood stray cat missing. If you have seen this cat, will you please let me know? We call him Dexter, but he has several names and many people feed him. He is a healthy male, maybe 6 years old. The last sighting was over a week ago to my neighbor who gives him breakfast every morning. He came, but did not eat, which is very unusual. He hasnt shown up on my back deck for his midnight meal for about 2 weeks, he isnt in any of his usual places and no one has seen him in the neighborhood. He may be sick, holed up somewhere. We are worried about him and miss him. We live near Parmer and Dallas, but I dont know far his range is. Thank you so much.

Beverly LunaThank you so much for helping this sweetie get home! Please post on NextDoor too. You should take him to get scanned for a microchip for free at any vet. Take a picture of the number on the scan result if you can. When you get this dog checked for a microchip, make sure the whole body is scanned as chips can migrate. If you file a found animal report and upload a picture at 311.austintexas.gov, the picture will show up in the Austin Animal Center database which will help in case someone is looking there for their dog. I lost Angel on 5/4/17 she is a little Silky Terrier with Blonde and black highlights (Hair) she was wearing her harness collar. (Name tag: Angel) she is my Moms Dog from Houston. she was left in my care (Austin: off Williamson Creek Drive) and I lost her. Please help me find her. The large property behind my house I think runs to Weir Loop and it also goes to Thomas Springs Rd. She could have also ran down (Williamson Creek Drive, Pitter Pat, Mow Winkle, Circle Drive, etc..) She is microchipped and registered with the AKC. Although if you tried calling the number on the tags they are wrong and I since had her registered, so call again please. Thank you for your help. Call 512-560-7799. Note: 6/16/17 this is a picture of Juliet her family member. I didnt have a picture of Angel, so I posted Juliets picture instead. Please look at more pictures in this post of Angel family.

Janell SloanThis is a Picture of Dolly (Angel's family member) she is with me not lost. Still looking for Angel. The picture above posted for Angel is a picture of Juliet not of Angel. I didn't have a picture of Angel so I posted Juliet's picture because out of Momma's 4 dogs that I was in charge of while she wasn't well Juliet looked more like Angel than the other 3 babies (however Dolly looks like Angel too minus the bubble head over her eyes). Angel is the youngest of them, only 12. went missing on her Birthday :(. I'm heartbroken that I lost my Momma's baby, please help me find her. Thank you.

Janell SloanOff Williamson Creek Drive. I lost Angel on 5/4/17. I believe she ran after one of my outdoor cats towards the large property behind my house, which runs into Thomas Springs road. I hope if someone found her they will give her back to me. she is my Momma's doggy which I was taking care of will my Momma was not well. Angel does not know her way around Austin (she is from Houston) and is an indoor doggy. the picture above is a picture of Juliet one of Angel's family members. I didn't have a picture of Angel so I posted Juliet's picture to find Angel. Angel is younger than Juliet so she will look different. also the picture I took of Juliet makes her look like she has a longer snout than what she does. So if you see or have seen a neighbor with a new Silky Terrier in the Weir Loop, Thomas Springs Rd, Williamson Creek Drive, Mow Winkle, Pitter Pat or Circle Drive Area please let me know. She was wearing her harness collar with her name on it and she is now registered with the AKC and she is Micro-chipped. Thank you for your help.

Ellen MarcusSo sorry Daisy is missing! Please put her bedding outside with stinky clothing of her humans and something smelly from any fur friends she may have. Then post in your local Nextdoor, Craigslist and make posters. Check AAC database daily and GO TO AAC to check in person. Disregard gender or other details if the photo looks like it might be Daisy!!! Follow all suggestions in this article for the best chance of being reunited with your baby. Beverly LunaSo sorry your pet is missing. Post on NextDoor ASAP. Place some of you or your family's dirty laundry outside (stinky socks, work clothes, etc). If he's in the area, it can help him smell his way home. If he has a bed or crate, place that outside as well. Leave some water out for him. Please see these tips to maximize the chance of finding him and update your post with requested info. Make sure you post in both sections of Craigslist (lost/found and pets) as well as on Nextdoor too. Posting flyers immediately is one of the best things you can do to get your pet home. austin.com/lost-found-pet-austin-heres-need-first/

Sharon WatermanOk situation: at least 3 kittens..unsure of age but probably over 2-3 weeks old. They are in the tunnel system that is about 75-100 yards long..I believe I spotted mom at an entrance to one of the storm drains..when she saw me she bolted into the tunnel..I set up some food and water near where I saw her. And about 30 yards away in some shady bushes I set up a feeding station in hopes to get her trapped and then we will go get the kittens..that's if she doesn't move them tonight.

Sharon WatermanI have been in contact with cat trapper Donna Powell (it won't let me tag her) from almost the get go. I was out there today to see if I could get into the storm drain to see how old these kittens are..I was able to see one from a very dark distance..it has its eyes open but is very wobbly, crawling/dragging but not walking..and about 3-4 inches long..mom is around and taking care of them..we set up a feeding station with a game came to see if she's eating..I know she's eating the wet food I put near the entrance to the storm drain, but I don't think she touched the feeding station dry food..(we just set the game cam up today). Hopefully I'll know tomorrow. An employee spotted mom in their trash can this morning at 5 am..and I spotted her at 7:30am in the storm drain.. The saga continues.

Kathy MuelkerIsn't San Leon on the gulf coast southeast of Houston? Has the dog been posted in all the groups and sites for that area? Have processes been followed for reporting a 'found dog' to Animal Services in that county?

Avatar

Cindy Weedman SmithKathy Muelker, she has been posted here too. Problem is the coast is a big vacation spot. I live just blocks from the water and she was wet when I found her. I searched the entire neighborhood for people with pools with no luck finding the owner. I am thinking she may have been lost by vacationers. She was taken to be scanned but no chip was found. Because I kept her overnight waiting for a response from her owner, the shelter won't pick her up. So I have posted on facebook, craigslist, nextdoor, and Pawboost, etc. When we lose a pet in San Leon the neighborhood is generally quick to respond where the pet belongs fairly quickly. This poor girl is very homesick. She does not know my neighborhood while being walked so I truly believe if she was lost, she may have come from a different area. I have up to 3 weeks to hold het. I am hoping the more people who see her lost the more likely her owner will find her.

Thousands of people are replacing their dog's tag with a TrackR to find them quickly if they ever get lost or stolen and avoid expensive pound fees! The TrackR is the perfect way to keep an eye on you...

Nikki Treviño, Judi Oliver and 6 others like this

Crystal PlemonsSadly, I don't recommend these. My parents bought me several for Christmas and they do not last long. The app stops being able to connect with the tracker after a very short time. Plus, when it is working, you have to be right by it for it to connect and be able to track it.

10 hours ago   ·  1

Erin BoyleThey should not be stating "Replace" your dog's tag with a tracker. They are not reliable because of range issues and battery life. It's fine to use it with your dog's tag but it should not be used as a replacement.

Deanna RootWhy would you replace your dogs tag? A tag allows finders to call the owners- especially if the dog is injured or dead. Many vets won't do surgical procedures without proof of registration and/or ownership. As great as something like this is, it's SUPER IRRESPONSIBLE advertising to suggest people replace their tags. This should be an addition, not a replacement.

UPDATE: REUNITED WITH ITS OWNER!

FOUND ORANGE TABBY IN ZILKER. Someone contacted me about this orange tabby cat assuming it was my lost cat, but unfortunately it isnt. Its been hanging out at the apartments at Jessie St. and Treadwell(where the Alamo is) which is right off of S. Lamar. Two people have told me that its been hanging out there for the past two days. I fed it tonight and Im going to try and catch it to check it for a chip tomorrow. Its been posted up at 3009 Treadwell all evening. Its extremely friendly and somewhat vocal. I cant tell if its a male or female though. Its too sweet to be a stray, but definitely looks like its been through some tough times. Feel free to text/call me at (281) 217 8797 with any questions.

Sarah ShawThis male cat is very friendly and let me pet it. Another neighbor picked him up and held him. He appears to be a teenage tom that has been neutered by a vet using the one stitch technique, so he is not castrated but appears to be neutered. He is also not ear tipped. Very tame and calm, does not act feral. He hissed at my feral tom. We will attempt to put him in a carrier and take him for a chip scan on Friday. Great pictures Hannah Riley.
