Living Nativity at Park Hills Baptist Church

You can sip hot chocolate under the stars and watch a free performance of the biblical story of the Nativity this weekend in the Hillside Theater at Park Hills Baptist Church.  For over twenty years, Park Hills Baptist Church has been bringing this reenactment of the Christmas story to adults and children through costumes, live animals, and singing.

This year, there will be a single nightly performance at 7pm on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, December 12, 13, 14, 2014.  Come a little early to pick up some hot chocolate and cookies and to settle into your spot on the tiered stone seating.  (By the way, the stone seating can be chilly, so consider bringing a blanket and/or stadium cushion.)

After the performance, kids always enjoy the petting zoo, with lots of farmyard animals to pet and hold.

If you are in the mood for even more holiday fun, you can follow up the Living Nativity with a stroll through the Trail of Lights, as the church location is very close to Zilker Park (just across the highway).

For more information, and to check for any possible weather cancellations, visit the church website.
