Bring the whole family to Cabela’s Kid’s Day on Saturday, June 7, 2014, from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. The Buda store will have activity booths from more than 20 local outdoors organizations, a bounce house, sno-cones and dozens of free activities including archery, kayaking and fishing! The first 50 kids to catch a fish receive a free Zebo rod and reel.

Handgun Clinic for the Whole Family
9:00am – 11:00am in the Deli Conference Room
In honor of Kid’s Day, the monthly FREE Ladies Handgun Clinic will hold a class fit for the whole family. Bring your little ones in for safety and proper handgun rules from NRA Instructor and Facilitator for the San Marcos Chapter of A Girl and a Gun – Lisa Railsback. Catch and Release Fishing Pond – First 50 kids get a FREE Zebco

Join Cabela’s Saturday morning at the portable fishing pond for National Fishing Day and Cabela’s Kid’s Day to kick off the summer. Be one of the first 50 kids to catch a fish and receive a FREE Zebco rod and reel. Saltwater-fisheries Enhancement Association will provide knowledgeable instructors to help your kids have the time of their life.
Youth Archery Shoot
10:00am – 3:00pm Outside of Store – South Lawn
Bring your kids and let them shoot a bow and arrow. Bastrop 4H Archery will provide instruction and coaching in a safe and fun environment at the outside range.
Kayak Test Drives
10:00am – 3:00pm in a Kayak Test Tank
Envision yourself gliding through the glassy waters. Kayaks are a great way to enjoy any water sport and event better for an afternoon of summer fun. Outfitters will be available to help you choose the proper kayak for your adventure.
Learn to Shoot – Daisy BB Gun Range
10:00am – 3:00pm Outside of Store – South Lawn
Bring your kids and give them a shot at the Cabela’s Daisy BB Gun Range. Bastrop 4H will be on hand to teach shooting etiquette and safety tips.
Inflated Battleship Bounce House
10:00am – 3:00pm Outside of Store
Let your kids test their climbing skills and have some fun jumping around and sliding down a huge camo battleship bounce house. This activity is fun for all ages.
Partner Group Activity Booths
