TEXAS (KXAN) — The man Texans voted to enforce state laws is now removing himself from some of his work duties, according to a spokesperson for Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton.
The decision to take a small step back comes after Paxton’s indictment this summer on securities fraud charges. Because of possible conflicts of interest, he will no longer deal with issues involving the State Securities Board and the Texas Ethics Commission.
