With a sound that is reminiscent of Locksley and Arctic Monkeys, Austin’s newest up and coming guitarist Hunter Sharpe has released a punchy new single, titled“Tokyo.”
Full of catchy hooks and memorable “la la las” which are perfect for a sing along, it’s clear Sharpe knows how to write a great song. With a full band behind him, Sharpe has a gift for knowing what makes his audience tick and dance, two components of “Tokyo” that make the track stand out.
A welcome respite from Austin’s more well-known genres of country and pop, it is a surprise that Sharpe has not experienced more success already. He is an artist to keep on your radar.
