8th Annual San Marcos Mardi Gras Parade (San Marcos)
Saturday, February 22 | from 12 to 2 p.m. | ABGB, 1305 West Oltorf Street
San Marcos’s own Mardi Gras parade since 2012, the 8th Annual San Marcos Mardi Gras Parade is the best family fun Mardi Gras celebration in Central Texas! Parade rolls at 12 p.m and begins at Dunbar Park and ends at 1250 Belvin Street. Parade map & sign-up information available here.

ABGB’s Mardi Gras Dog Parade
Saturday, February 22 | from 2 to 6 p.m. | ABGB, 1305 West Oltorf Street
ABGB’s dog-friendly 5th Annual Mardi Gras party will feature a parade of costumed canines, related food specials (gumbo, king cake), and music. Donations will be raised for Pug Rescue Austin.

Mardi Gras Celebration Ft/ Easy Tiger Chef Demo & King Cake
Sunday, February 23 | from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. | Texas Farmer’s Market at Mueller, 4209 Airport Boulevard at the Browning Hangar

On Sunday, February 23, Easy Tiger and Barton Springs Mill will be teaming up to celebrate the day, selling whole King Cakes (made with Pain au Lait dough, filled with a rich cinnamon sugar filling and sprinkled with festive sanding sugar) and Barton Springs Mill flour (to make your own cake at home). Plus, Easy Tiger will be giving away two free king cakes in a “Find the Tiger” SCAVENGER HUNT! Want to participate? Check in at the Mardi Gras tent and then visit different vendor booths to find the hidden Easy Tiger Mardi Gras beads. The first two people to find the beads win!

Fat Tuesday – Crawfish Boil Jamboree

Hot Crawfish by the pound until it runs out. Charles Thibodeaux & the Austin Cajun Aces playing from 5:30 to 7 p.m. followed by DJ Island Time from 7 to 10 p.m.

Cypress Grill’s 18th annual Mardi Gras party will feature live music by Jean-Pierre & the Zydeco Angels, a face painter for the kids (and kids at heart), and, of course, beads, beads, and more beads! There will also be specials on Hurricanes and Abita beer for the big kids (21+).
