With Christmas just around the corner, we decided to include a bit of holiday cheer in our reviews this week. Grapes and Friends, a local band made up of members of several Austin groups such as Genuine Leather, Dangeresque, and The Gorgeous Hands, has released a Christmas song titled “Christmas Crush.” A fun and snappy R&B flavored track, “Christmas Crush” combines everything Austinites love about the above-mentioned acts and is a great choice for getting the party started. While the band’s annual Christmas party at Hole in The Wall has already passed, be sure to check out the groups full EP to welcome the spirit of Christmas.
