Are you seeking a greater sense of self, health, vision or community — or all of the above? If so, Voice & Exit 2014 might be just the positive and transformational event you need to get you moving in a wonderful new direction. This “celebration of human flourishing” returns to the Austin Music Hall and Ballet Austin on June 21, 2014 after a successful 2013 debut. With visionary speakers, interactive breakouts, and a festival with live musical and acrobatic performances, this event is about exploring, celebrating and implementing “ideas that enable people to find well-being, life meaning and stronger connection to others.” Sounds fascinating, compelling and just a little strange, right? According to one observer, “It’s like TED had a lovechild with Cirque du Soleil.”
|Speaker Steven Kotler|
Through short talks, breakout sessions and an evening festival, attendees of the one-day event will explore twelve dimensions, including mind, body, spirit, play and community. Among the event’s speakers, Steven Kotler, author of The Rise of Superman, will help audiences explore “flow hacking”: finding optimal professional or athletic performance through positive psychology. The Paleo Manifesto author John Durant will discuss how the popular diet is not just a fad, but also a fundamental starting point for a more natural way to eat and live. Dave Asprey, “The Bulletproof Executive,” will explore ways he improves health, well-being and cognitive performance through personal experimentation.
|Electronic artist Govinda|
Other themes include disruptive innovation, crypto-currencies like Bitcoin, seasteading, biohacking, startup cities, optimal health, alternative education, and more. For the finale, guests will enjoy live musical performances — all among acrobatics and exhibitors. Electronic artist and violinist Govinda will headline the nighttime festival.
