Toybrary now delivers to South and North Austin! |
Hey, psst — families living in South Austin or waaaay North Austin, up to Cedar Park and Round Rock — guess what? Toybrary Austin is now delivering toys to your area! That’s pretty sweet news, but it gets better — Toybrary is also giving away a FREE Smart Balance Bike to one lucky Free Fun in Austin reader!
First, let’s talk toy delivery. If you aren’t familiar with Toybrary, it’s a toy lending library for kids ages 6 months to 5 years old. Memberships start at $20 for 10 days or $35 a month, making this an affordable and environmentally conscious alternative to buying endless new toys that clutter up your living space once their novelty wears off. Toybrary’s high standards mean kids can enjoy a ton of great, educational, high-quality toys, all of which are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected between uses.
Until now, members have visited Toybrary Austin — located off W. Anderson Lane — to pick up their toys. But if stopping by that part of town is not convenient for you, there are now two more locations to choose from!
Here’s how it works:
- You’ll place an order online for the category of toys your little one wants to explore — for example, Art, Games, Dress-up/Dolls, Vehicles, Fine Motor, and so on. (View South Austin order form here or North Austin order form here.)
- On the first Tuesday of each month, you’ll drop off your past month’s toys and pick up three new ones at Anna’s Toy Depot (2620 S. Lamar #B, for South Austin customers) or Kid to Kid (14010 N. Hwy 183, Ste. #420, for way North Austin customers). The first pickup date at each location is Tuesday, October 7, 2014, from 10:30 – 11:00 AM.
- Enjoy your toys all month long and then swap them for new toys on the first Tuesday of the next month!
And now, let’s talk giveaway! Toybrary Austin is giving away a FREE Smart Balance Bike to one lucky winner! This strong, lightweight balance bike (valued at $95) is easy for even small children to maneuver, providing a smooth, stable ride that’s lots of fun. With the Smart Balance Bike, your child can develop the balance and coordination skills needed to ride a two-wheeler.
