Rebate Austin: Free Stuff, Green Stuff

Did you know that the Austin Fire Department will come to your home, provide you and your family a free home hazard assessment and then install free fire alarms in your hallways and bedrooms that come with batteries that will work for 10 years?

Did you know that Austin Resource Recovery has free mulch that you can use to keep your trees healthier and help you water less?

Did you know that you can apply more than one rebate at a time? In fact several Austin Energy and Texas Gas rebates overlap – that’s twice the rebate!

Thinking about getting solar? REBATES!

Thinking about getting water cisterns? REBATES!

Need a new water heater? REBATES!

Want to take up composting? REBATES!

Want to reduce your water bill? Austin Water provides free low-flow shower-heads and faucet aerators for renters and homeowners alike!

Got a pet? The Austin Animal Center wants to help keep Austin pets healthy! In partnership with Emancipet, the City of Austin provides free spay/neuter surgery for dogs and cats. Included with the surgery;

  • Rabies vaccine (dogs and cats 3 months and older)
  • DHPP (for dogs 6 months and younger)
  • FVRCP (for cats 6 months and younger)
  • Microchip (unless already chipped)

And much more!
