On Saturday, September 13, 2014, from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m., Austin Diaper Bank and City of Austin Parks and Recreation will co-host Family Fun Fest and Diaper Drive at Northwest Recreation Center.
The Fest will be a free, rocking fun time for families, as well as a showcase of awesome local children’s businesses!
Attendees can enjoy:
- Classes for kids including hip hop dance, LEGOs, art, cooking, yoga, Mandarin and more.
- Performances by musicians, magicians and dancers.
- Meet and greet with Austin Aquarium.
- Goody bags for the first 200 kids.
- Giveaways.
- A photo booth and selfie station.
- Lunch from the food trucks onsite.
- Alex Franco from MIX 94.7, broadcasting live from the event.
Family Fun Fest is FREE to the public, but size 4 diapers or monetary donations to help Austin’s babies are appreciated.
