Free Family Fun at the Second Annual Ney Day

Celebrate Elisabet Ney, her art and her legacy, at the second annual Ney Day! Enjoy music, art, performances, and hands on activities at the Elisabet Ney Museum on Saturday, May 3, 2014, from noon – 5 p.m. 

Admission to Ney Day is free.  Activities will include trapeze, hula hoops, clay and limestone sculpting, food trucks, jugglers, hula hoopers, technology activities, bookmaking, and more! A highlight will be a spray-paint art performance. 


Guests will enjoy booths from GirlStart, Girls’ Rock Camp, Austin Bookmakers Guild, The South Austin Museum of Popular Culture, The Museum of Natural and Artificial Ephemerata, Amy’s Ice Creams, UT Press, the Asian American Resource Center, the George Washington Carver Center, and more!

There will be also live music from SeVana Marimba, Rosie Flores, Jennifer Cook, Yes Ma’am Brass Band, and Fiddlisa and Friends. See the schedule here.
