Shops & Hops
Hill Country Galleria is hosting its annual Shops & Hops event. Guests are invited to discover great beers from all around the world while shopping the eclectic mix of businesses at the Hill Country Galleria. The event will start at Twin Liquors, where guests can pick up a guide / map, which also acts as a ticket to all the stops. Hill Country Galleria shopping bags filled with exclusive offers will also be available to participants. Event is FREE!

Friday, October 27

KUTX Live @ Mueller
Rock the amphitheater at Mueller Lake Park this fall with another round of family friendly concerts curated by KUTX and Spare the Rock, Spoil the Child. The fun starts at 7 p.m. with a kid-friendly act, followed by rock and roll for the grown-ups. Food trucks, fun, and live music on the lake! Oct. 27 performers: Kupira Marimba @ 7 p.m. and Brownout @ 7:45 p.m. Admission is FREE!

Psalm 19 Astronomy – Sidewalk Astronomy Ministry
Psalm 19 Astronomy is a sidewalk astronomy ministry with the mission to share the beauty and majesty of God’s universe through astronomy. The next Psalm 19 Astronomy’s theme will be “Thank God for the Moon!” and there will be educational cards detailing how the moon helps to make Earth habitable for humans. See the moon and Saturn through a Celestron Nexstar 8″ computerized telescope. The FREE event is set up on the Hike & Bike Pedestrian Bridge which runs just east of S. Lamar Blvd. bridge (at the intersection of W. Riverside Drive and S. Lamar).

Saturday, October 28

34th Annual Head of Colorado Regatta
The Head of the Colorado (PumpkinHead Regatta) is a 4,000 meter rowing head race held annually on the last Saturday of October. Austin Rowing Club has hosted this regatta since the mid-1980s. 2017 marks the 34th annual PumpkinHead Regatta. Head out to the shores of Lady Bird Lake for an unforgettable event! Admission is FREE.

Murder, Mayhem & Misadventure Walking Tour… A Walk Through Time
Join the 11th annual Murder, Mayhem & Misadventure Walking Tour at Historic Oakwood Cemetery, founded in 1839. The FREE tours cover the chilling, untimely deaths of “residents” of Oakwood portrayed by actors at their grave sites. The 45-minute tours highlight historical – not scary – events from the 1870s-1930s and showcase a wealth of historical information.Tours start every 15-20 minutes between 10 a.m. and 3:15 p.m. at the tents erected for the tour off Main & Central Avenues.

Northside Amplified: Charlie Mars
Engel & Völkers Finest Real Estate Worldwide, in partnership with Domain Northside and MIX 94.7, is pleased to present NORTHSIDE AMPLIFIED, a FREE event on October 28, from 6 to 9 p.m. Guests will have the opportunity to watch DJ 2DQ spin out on the Northside Lawn followed by incredible live music from Charlie Mars, closing out the season.

Creatures of the Night (Lockhart)
Discover what goes bump in the night during this special Halloween-themed night hike! Can you survive in the park after dark?  Many animals have amazing adaptations that allow them to survive without light. Join a Master Naturalist to explore the park after dark and discover how to live like the creatures of the night! Costumes are optional but encouraged. All ages welcome. Regular park fees apply ($3/adult and FREE for children 12 & under).

Rolling Sculpture Car Show
Hill Country Galleria is hosting the annual Rolling Sculpture Car Show. Guests can explore retailers and restaurants while checking out classic cars on display along Hill Country Boulevard. Enjoy live music at the Central Plaza from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. with the car show awards happening on stage at 2 p.m. This event is a fundraiser for the Bee Cave Public Library, and is FREE to attend.
