Eat, drink, and do good this Thanksgiving season. What better way to give thanks than to support local charity? Friendsgiving will feature the following local nonprofits with (optional) onsite volunteer activities that can be done while drinking and socializing:Meals on Wheels Central TX, Jeremiah Program, Todos Juntos Learning Center, Art From the Streets, Refugee Services of Texas, Colin’s Hope, Austin Running Club, Partnerships for Children, and Shoal Creek Conservancy. Black Star Co-op will be donating $1 for every pint sold to the participating nonprofits! There is no cost to participate in the activities – regular food and beverage menu will be available for purchase.

Games Night (Relationship Communication Skills)

Learn how to go deeper in relationships while playing games. We will be inside Central Market’s cafe. Look for the sign with our group name on it. Folks are welcome to pop in any time, for any amount of time, between 7 and 9:30 p.m. PLEASE RSVP.

#OptOutside Hike (Lockhart)

Join a park ranger to #OptOutside this Black Friday! All ages welcome. Prepare: Wear weather-appropriate clothing and sturdy shoes. Bring water and apply sunscreen or bug repellent, as needed. The hike is 3/4-mile on moderate terrain. No registration required. Meet: Meet your guide at the Creekview Trailhead. If driving from park headquarters, take your first left-hand turn, pass the campgrounds, and park along the paved loop. Fees: This program is free with entry to the park. Regular park entrance fees are $3/adult, free for children 12 & under.
Christmas Vacation Movie Night
