Austin’s New Year Celebration at Auditorium Shores

Austin residents may want to stay in town for New Year’s Eve this year. The Austin’s New Year line-up includes Grupo Fantasma, Golden Dawn Arkestra, and Carolyn Wonderland. Austin’s New Year (ANY) is an annual alcohol-free celebration that showcases a variety of art, food trucks, and live music on three stages. Other confirmed performers include The Statesboro Revue, Big Cat, Vallejo, KP and the Boom Boom, Shawn Nelson, and Kalu James. The Community Stage will also feature The Watters, Tiarra Girls, Big Don, and Band Aid. This FREE event begins at 4 p.m. with a fireworks finale at 10 p.m. (Auditorium Shores, South 1st Street and Riverside Drive, Austin)

New Year’s Eve featuring Marmalakes and Good Field

NYE doesn’t have to be pricey. If you’re looking for a laid-back good time, visit the good folks at Radio Coffee & Beer. Marmalakes and Good Field will be performing a FREE show at on New Year’s Eve, from 10 p.m. -1 a.m. (Radio Coffee and Beer, 4204 Manchaca Rd, Austin)

New Year’s Eve with DJ Manny at Whisler’s

Whisler’s will be ringing in the New Year with DJ Manny spinning from 10 p.m. – 2 a.m. FREE admission and a complimentary toast at midnight. Mezcaleria Tobala will be open, as well as the always amazing Thai Kun. Party favors abound in a covered heated patio with some of the best drinks in town. (Whisler’s, 1816 East 6th Street, Austin)

New Year’s Eve at The Blackheart

New Year’s Eve at Banger’s Sausage House and Beer Garden

Celebrate with Banger’s as they leave 2015 in its tracks and give a good long hello to 2016! Live music begins at 7 p.m. with Them Duquaines and then Teddy Long takes the stage starting at 10 p.m. and will carry everyone through until 1 a.m. If you give Banger’s the honor of celebrating the turn of the hour there, they will return the favor with a FREE champagne (or beer) toast! New Year’s Eve Black and Gold Gala at Indian Roller

Indian Roller is ringing in the New Year in style! Black and Gold attire is encouraged, but certainly not required.
