Trinity Street Players presents Our Town

The Pulitzer Prize-winning classic by Thornton Wilder, Our Town, will be playing May 13-24, 2015. Journey back to the turn of the century (that’d be two centuries ago) and spend an intimate evening with a small town, wondering whether anyone realizes the value of life while we live it.  The show is FREE and plays at 7:30pm Wednesdays-Saturdays and 2:30pm on Sundays.  There is even free childcare available during some shows. (First Baptist Church, 4th Floor, 901 Trinity St, Austin)

The Taming of the Shrew at Zilker Hillside Theatre

Come out for art under the stars as the sun sets at Zilker Hillside Theater. This weekend’s performance will be Shakespeare’s The Taming of the Shrew. The popular play is a comedy believed to have been written in the mid 15th century. Dogs must be on leash and picnics are allowed (no alcohol). FREE, but bring $5 for parking. Unplugged at The Grove

Join KGSR at the iconic Shady Grove on Barton Springs Road for one of Austin’s longest running FREE concert series. The live music begins with Alpha Rev at 8pm. Soul Thursdays at the Blackheart

Love wine? Then you must check out the Hill Country Galleria’s Wine Walk! Start at Twin Liquors to pick up a map to guide you on the wine walk. Keep your map with you as your ticket for each wine walk stop. Hill Country Galleria shopping bags filled with exclusive offers will also be available to Wine Walk participants. The 2nd Annual Barksdale Blues Festival

Benefiting HAAM and Georgetown Animal Outreach, this will be a howlin’ good time with great live music, for both people and their dogs to enjoy! Raising Artists Exhibition by Generous Art
