Round Rock Express Annual Fan Fest

Baseball is back! At the annual Fan Fest, Dell Diamond will transform into an interactive fun zone for fans of all ages. Fan Fest is a free event and open to the public. Fans attending this year’s event will receive the opportunity to throw heat in the Express home bullpen, tour the clubhouse and participate in a hot dog eating contest. Craft beer samples, as well as a sampling of the Hall of Fame Grille menu in the Intel Club, will be available. Fans can gear up for the 2018 season through deals available in the Railyard Team Store and check out some of the brand-new merchandise, including a new line in partnership with the Nolan Ryan Foundation.

Blanton Block Party

The Blanton Block Party is back! Be there for a free day-to-night community festival to kick off Spring and celebrate the big changes on the block. It’s the perfect opportunity to experience Ellsworth Kelly Austin, the freestanding building designed by the renowned artist as a place for “joy and contemplation” and now part of the museum’s permanent collection. The galleries and outdoor plaza will be buzzing throughout the day with activities for all ages, including art making, live music, dining, and special museum tours. As the sun sets, the party continues with after-hours art viewing, a cash bar, music and dancing, a photo booth, and even more art activities.

A Night at the Museum: Beyond Bollywood Exhibit Tour and Newton Film Screening

Beyond Bollywood is a traveling exhibition created by the Smithsonian Institution. Through a vibrant collection of photographs, artifacts, art and interactive learning stations, visitors will experience the Indian American story and explore the many dynamic roles Indian Americans have played in shaping America. 7 p.m. screening of Newton. About Newton (Film): Newton Kumar, a rookie government clerk finds himself entrusted with a task that appears deceptively simple: conducting elections in a remote village in the jungles of central India. Hindi with English Subtitles. Run time 106 minutes. Event is free and open to the public.
