Unplugged at The Grove: Uncle Lucius

First Thursday on South Congress

First Thursday happens this week and takes place along South Congress Avenue, generally from Barton Springs Road to Elizabeth Street. The SoCo block party starts at 6pm and the stores along South Congress that normally close early stay open late until about 10pm. They will be joined by craft vendors, live music, and special guests. The Free Fringe at The Hideout

2015 Austin Bollywood Day

Learn to dance like a Bollywood star and join in a record-breaking attempt to participate in the world’s largest dance number. Presented by Agni Entertainment, Bollywood Day celebrates dance and Indian culture and will feature a procession from the State Capitol to the Long Center. Bollywood Day will be full of Indian food, games, contests, dancing and more! Om Shanti! This FREE event begins at the Texas State Capitol and proceeds to the Long Center, 3-7pm. Duck Derby benefitting the Austin Boys and Girls Club Foundation

Barton Springs Fest 2015

Come celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Barton Creek Uprising AND the 23rd Anniversary of the passing of the SOS Ordinance on Saturday, August 8th. Event is FREE except for pool entry fee. There will be snorkel tours, hikes, live music, speakers, film and an after party at ABGB. Snorkel Tours and Hikes start at 8am until 11am, then regroup at 5pm for the live music, film and speakers.
