Unplugged at the Grove: Harvest Thieves

This week’s featured musician for KGSR’s Unplugged at the Grove is Harvest Thieves, starting at 8pm. This is one of Austin’s longest running FREE concert series. SHDW Gallery presents The Works of Miguel Rangel

The Holy Child at Javelina

Playpen: An Evening of Brand New Comedy

Proud comedy mommas Nikita Redkar and Elizabeth Spears are delighted to welcome the newest bundle of joy in town, Playpen, featuring a bevy of jokes, sketches, characters, and utter debauchery never before seen to the world. They’re challenging some of Austin’s funniest comedians to dig up all the ideas they’ve written in their dream journals, phone notes, or on their shower walls with fallen hair and share them at this make-or-break opportunity before the acts become full fledged superstars. Made In Austin: Music Makers

General Assembly, KUTX, and The Austin Chronicle present Made in Austin’s closing night by celebrating one of the city’s most undeniable differentiators: Music. Austin has always been a place for revolutionary sounds. Starting at 5pm they’ll have a discussion with some of the city’s most influential music proponents and creators, about what makes the Austin music scene unique. Hear from those who helped build the scene and those who are propelling it forward. We’ll close the night and the week with a FREE concert from one of Austin’s best up and coming local acts. Meet the World of Ferrari and FREE Canadian Grand Prix Watch Party

Come join Ferrari of Austin and the Ferrari Club of America to view classic and new Ferraris, talk to the owners, and view a live broadcast of the Canadian Grand Prix in the Velocity Lounge at the Circuit of the Americas.  This is a great opportunity to get up close to the legendary Italian cars of Enzo Ferrari.  The event is FREE from noon-4pm.  Parking is also free in Lot A. Austin Symphony Hartman Foundation present Concerts in the Park: Woodwinds

In its 14th summer season, these FREE ensemble concerts take place in the Hartman Concert Park in front of the Long Center City Terrace starting at 7:30pm.  A gift from the Hartman Family Foundation, these concerts are presented to the Austin community in thanks for its continued, generous support. Each Sunday a different ensemble of the Austin Symphony will be featured at the new Hartman Park, located on the grounds of the Long Center for the Performing Arts, performing music from jazz and light classical to pops selections and film scores.
