Free Christmas Concerts with The Austin Symphony

The Austin Symphony is excited to announce a brand new program this holiday season that will bring free music to all Austinites! 

Christmas in the Community is a series of twelve concerts that will be held throughout Austin, featuring different ensembles of the orchestra playing familiar holiday music. The program kicks off on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at the Domain’s annual tree lighting ceremony and concludes on Monday, December 22, 2014 with a performance at the State Capitol.

  • November 22, 1:00 PM – Woodwind Quintet – Macy’s at the Domain 
  • December 5, 12:00 PM – String Quartet – City Hall 
  • December 6, 1:00 PM – Brass Quintet – Macy’s at Barton Creek Mall 
  • December 6, 1:00 PM – String Quartet – Montopolis Recreation Center
  • December 9, 1:00 PM – Brass Quintet – Macy’s at the Domain 
  • December 10, 7:00 PM – Woodwind Quartet – Mexican American Cultural Center
  • December 15, 1:00 PM – String Quartet – Wilhelmina Delco Center 
  • December 17, 6:30 PM – Brass Quintet – George Washington Carver Museum
  • December 18, 1:00 PM – String Quartet – Asian American Resource Center
  • December 19, 10:30 AM – String Quartet – Gus Garcia Recreation Center
  • December 19, 1:00 PM – Woodwind Quintet Macy’s at Lakeline Mall 
  • December 22, 12:00 PM – String Quartet – State Capitol 

These performances are all free and open to the public with no tickets required.
