Texas Memorial Museum recently started charging admission, but on Saturday, March 7, 2015, you can visit for free! Plus, as part of the University of Texas at Austin’s Explore UT day, there will be special activities for kids to enjoy.
Saturday, March 7, 2015:
- Museum exhibits open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Explore UT activities 11 a.m. to 4:40 p.m.
Admission:
- FREE (donations welcome)
Activities:
- Create your own science inspired arts and crafts.
- Bring your fossil finds to the Paleo Lab for identification by a paleontologist.
- Learn about the science of paleontology, and how fossils are important for our understanding of biodiversity and environmental change.
