As spring creeps ever closer and ushers away gloomy winter days, parents need to start thinking ahead to the next season: summer. It’s never too late to start planning for summer, as camp spaces fill up very quickly in the Austin area. With so much to choose from, it can become a bit overwhelming analyzing and organizing the best choices for your children, but Nurture My Child is here to help!
Nurture My Child’s Camp Fair is coming up on Sunday, February 25. From 1-4 p.m. the Norris Conference Center will be packed with information and fun, a space where parents can find more than 60 camp representatives for upcoming programs all over Austin. These camps are for kids aged 4-18, but the event will be fun for the whole family! Event features include children’s activities, prizes, giveaways, and more.
Representatives for sleep-away camps, day camps, sports camps, art camps, STEM camps, theatre camps, and many, many more will be on site to help parents and caregivers find the perfect match. Summer camps often create lasting childhood memories and help prevent summer slump, so this is an important decision — but one that Nurture My Child wants to help make fun!
Tickets to the camp fair are totally free. Register online to attend, or walk-ins the day of the event are welcome.
