When it comes to pools, Austin has some great ones. Bartholomew Municipal Pool is perfect for the whole family. Located in Bartholomew Park, this destination guarantees a day full of family-fun!

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday:
8 – 10 a.m. | Lap Swim
12 to 8 p.m. | Recreational Swim

Thursdays: Closed

Saturday, Sunday:
11 a.m. – 8 p.m. | Recreational Swim

July 4:

12 – 7 p.m. | Recreation Swim

Amenities:

A 25-yard lap pool with a diving board at the deep end (12ft) is the center of Bartholomew Pool. They also have two slides and two smaller pools for the kids. The pool also has showers, bathrooms, and lockers to store your stuff.

Admission Cost:

Child Under 1 is Free

Child 1 – 11, Resident $2, Non Resident $4

Junior 12 – 17, Resident $3, Non Resident $5

Adult 18 – 62, Resident $5, Non Resident $9

Senior 62+, Resident $2, Non Resident $5

Parking:

There is a FREE and spacious parking lot attached to the building.

Kid-Friendly:

This is the perfect spot for the kids! The offer a pool for little ones that has a few fountains for splashing and a little frog water slide (for ages 2-4) and also includes shade covers overhead. It also has a sloped floor, with the deepest part only being 2 ft, 6 inches. There is also a fun pool for slightly bigger kids (4 ft) that includes shade covers and a lily pad bridge that kids can tackle if up for a challenge. Two winding tube water slides (for kids who are at least 48 inches tall). Plus did we mention slides? Bartholomew has two winding tube water slides!
