Stop by the Susanna Dickinson Museum for a FREE children’s storytime! We’ll be reading Flying Free: How Bessie Coleman’s Dreams Took Flight, written by Karyn Parsons and illustrated by R. Gregory Christie. After we read the story, participants are welcome to put together their own balsa wood airplane to take home with them!
Parking Information: There is limited street parking, but many public parking garages are located near the museum. The nearest paid parking garage is the Austin Convention Center Parking Garage located at 601 East 5th St. The MetroRail also stops directly alongside Brush Square Park, adjacent to the museums.
