Jester King Brewery and Byron Bates, natural wine sommelier and importer, announce Wild World, the first of its kind in Texas – a two-day festival with wine, beer and cider. Wild World will take place on the grounds of Jester King, the renowned farmhouse brewery located in the Texas Hill Country on the outskirts of Austin. It will feature some of the very best natural winemakers in the world for two days of tastings, panels, and classes. Wild World is presented in collaboration with leading natural wine experts Alice Feiring and Lee Campbell, and Jester King Wine Coordinator Traci Walker.
In addition to the producers of natural wine, wild ale and cider, Wild World will also feature food, drink and artisan goods from Barton Springs Mill, Cold Ones Pops, Jester King Kitchen, L’Oven Bread, Salt & Time, Sunrise Mini Mart and Whup’s Boomerang BBQ. Festival-goers will have the opportunity to attend panel discussions and fermentation classes, bask in eclectic acoustic vibes, and explore Jester King’s farm and brewery.
Festivities will run from 11 AM to 6 PM on Saturday, May 18th and from 12 PM to 6:30 PM on Sunday, May 19th. A one-day pass is available for $85 and a weekend pass for $135 at www.wildworldfestival.com.
Wild World is supported by Whole Foods Market, The Carpenter Hotel, Ravenscroft Crystal, Rambler Sparkling Water and Yeti. Our media partner is Texas Monthly. Wild World supports participating producers by providing free table space.
