The Voice and Style

How do authors such as Stephen King, Robert B. Parker, Sandra Brown, Deborah Crombie, and Lee Child grab the reader’s attention with both fists and refuse to let go? Through hard work and solid writing practices that develop a distinctive writing voice and style. Novelist Reavis Z. Wortham will discuss the road to discovering a distinctive voice, how to avoid pitfalls in the creative process, and provide tips to writing vivid characters and settings, all to help you find your unique style.

Reavis Z. Wortham is the author of the critically acclaimed Red River Mystery Thriller Series. His first novel, The Rock Hole was listed by Kirkus Reviews as one of the Top 12 Novels of 2011.
