Thanksgiving Feast and Turkey Day Family Olympics at Hyatt Regency Lost Pines

Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort & Spa will host a Thanksgiving Day Feast for local residents and resort guests. The event will officially kick-off the holiday festivities at the resort, and will feature all-you-can-eat, gourmet dining options, and holiday activities including the “Turkey Day Family Olympics” where families can compete for the turkey trophy, and much more.
The holiday feast will feature seasonal entrees including creamy butternut squash soup, herb-brined turkey with cranberry and orange relish, maple-glazed ham, pecan-smoked prime rib, red fish with cured olives, and more. Guests can also enjoy a variety of side dishes ranging from traditional bread stuffing and sweet potatoes with a maple pecan glaze, to buttermilk Yukon mashed potatoes and French beans with shallots and gremolata.
The traditional holiday dining options will be complemented with several specialty stations including a charcuterie station with a selection of local cheeses and cured meats; a seafood station with oysters, jumbo shrimp, and crab claws; a fresh salad station with a variety of toppings and house-made dressings; as well as a station for children with items including fresh fruit salad, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, macaroni and cheese, sweet potato tots, and much more.
Guests can conclude their dining experience with a “pumpkinpalooza” dessert station featuring traditional pumpkin pie, pumpkin crème brûlée, pumpkin whoopie pies with maple cream filling, as well as dozens of additional desserts ranging from a caramel apple parfait and cookies and cream cheesecake bites, to a crepe station and the resort’s signature chocolate fountain.
As part of the Thanksgiving Feast event, the resort will feature the “Turkey Day Family Olympics” where guests can compete in a variety of holiday-themed games. Tex the Turkey, the resort’s Thanksgiving mascot, will host and referee the “Turkey Day Family Olympics” and families will have the opportunity to win a turkey trophy and prize. Guests will also be able to meet and take complimentary photos with the resort’s Texas Longhorn mascots, perfect for holiday cards, as well as take part in Thanksgiving-themed arts and crafts or enjoy family holiday movies.
The Thanksgiving Feast will take place on November 22 between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. It costs $68 for adults, $34 for children between the ages of six-years-old and 12-years-old, and is complimentary for children five-years-old and younger.
