Technology in Developing Africa’s Economic Growth: Nature & Role of the Private Sector

The Greater Austin Black Chamber of Commerce is pleased to host a forth-coming Africa Technology Summit featuring keynote remarks by former Nigerian President H. E. Olusegun Obasanjo who will speak on the topic of Technology in Developing Africa’s Economic Growth: Nature & Role of the Private Sector on September 24, 2015 from 3PM to 7PM at Huston-Tillotson University.

The event is a direct result of February 2015 outreach to Lagos Nigeria on behalf of the Chamber in one of our many international outreach efforts to connect to African Diaspora technology markets. The goal of these missions is to further establish Austin as a global technology city and to create opportunities for businesses in Austin and abroad to conduct exchange.

The agenda for the program includes two featured panels titled Technology Education in Emerging Markets & Underserved Communities and Technology Growth Trends in Africa.
