STRONG IMPROV WOMEN! with Ruby Willmann
Saturdays in June
4pm – 6pm
$85 / $75 (for current Institution Students with discount code InstitutionStudent)

This class is limited to 14 women. For all experience levels.

This All-Ladies class is about shaking off the pressure, finding your full potential, and practicing presenting it to the world in its full glory! Empower your work past the limitations you put on yourself as well as the limitations others put on you. There will be an emphasis on group game, scene support, character play and group bonding!

RUBY WILLMANN began studying improv in 2010. Since then, she has been in over a dozen mainstage shows. She is a founding member of The Escorts and a teacher at the Hideout Theatre. Ruby directed Student Mainstage Production What the [email protected]#$ and Hideout mainstage Wanderlust. Ruby believes strongly in fostering the AIC community and encouraging all improvisers to embrace the fun.

“I have never felt so supported by a group of people that I didn’t even know that well. Everyone was so supportive all the time.”
– Margaret Rose

“I definitely feel more confident. I’m a relatively new improviser and I liked how everyone was at a different level. This class really helped me step my improv up.”
– Cristy Salinas

“It’s really encouraging to see that your super negative inner-dialogue is something that we’re all struggling with. It was really cool to work on it together.”
– Cat Drago

“One man in the room can change the dynamic, and I think we were all able to empathize really well about being in situations of being prostitutes, etc. Playing the game where we all learned to have fun playing prostitutes was really amazing.”
– Linzy Beltran

“I think this is a really great safe place, an empowering place, and magic happens here. And you get to try all this stuff out with no pressure of boys and then you go out where you do improv with everyone, but now you know your potential and now you know what you can do. I can do all this stuff and I just need to tell myself that and practice that.”
– Kim Tran

“I have really really enjoyed every aspect of this class.”
– Callie Sharon
