Science Saturday: Technology of Today and Tomorrow

Texas Museum of Science & Technology (TXMOST) is inviting families to Science Saturday: Technology of Today and Tomorrow on June 24 from 1 pm to 5 pm. Guests can explore new technologies being used and take a glance at what technologies we may see in the future. Children and adults can learn about virtual reality, augmented reality, 3D printing and more through pop-up galleries, live demos, and activities. Amanda Masino, Ph.D. and Leon Vanstone, Ph.D. from Huston-Tillotson University will demonstrate exciting hands-on science and bring a tiny sustainable dumpster home from The Dumpster Project.

 

Families can also take advantage of other TXMOST attractions, including the Timewalk exhibit, “Wonderful Things” galleries, and the planetarium. Admission is free for members and regular museum price for nonmembers.
