Science Saturday: Earth Day and the March for Science
April 22, 2017 @ 10:00 am - 9:00 pm - Free
On April 22, the Texas Museum of Science and Technology (TXMOST) will host Science Saturday: Earth Day and open its doors for free in solidarity with the March for Science. While the museum will be open to the public all day, guests are encouraged to drop in during Science Saturday from 1 – 5 PM to explore what the Earth does for humans and what humans can do for the earth. In celebration of Earth Day, there will be fun activities for the whole family to enjoy, including seed bombs, tiny terrariums, and more!
As science enthusiasts around the world march on April 22, TXMOST wants to increase awareness and encourage support for science at a community level. Donations or membership sign-ups are greatly appreciated as they directly help promote science in the community.
Families can also take advantage of other TXMOST attractions, including the TimeWalk exhibit, “Wonderful Things” galleries, the Nikon Small World Photomicrography Exhibit, and the planetarium.
