Plant-based Thanksgiving Cooking Demo

Join ATX Vegans as they partner up with Wheatsville Food Co-op to present a Plant-based Thanksgiving cooking demonstration at 7 p.m. on Monday, November 19. This demo will be located at Wheatsville’s South Lamar location and will be led by the Plant-Based genius behind Cool Beans Eatery, Chef Rolando Garza.
Chef Rolando will be showing the audience how to make the following dishes. Samples of each dish will be given to guests as he finishes each demo.
The Night’s Menu
- Roasted Acorn Squash
- Wild Rice and Lentil Stuffing
- Candied yams
- Green Bean Casserole
- Mushroom Gravy
This is FREE and open to the public, so grab your friends + loved ones and join us for yummy plant-based Thanksgiving eats! Guests will go home with the recipes and ATX Vegans will live-stream the event through the ATX Vegans Facebook page for later viewing.
The event will be approximately two hours in length, however guests are able to come and go. Alcoholic beverages are not permitted.
