Free Nature Nights at the Wildflower Center

Nature Nights return to the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center this summer on Thursdays June 8-29. Admission for the family science and discovery events will be FREE from 6-9:00 p.m.

Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center Nature Nights

Nature Nights offer fun-filled explorations of plants, animals, and the ecology of Central Texas. Each Nature Night features interactive presentations, hikes with experts in their fields, book signings and readings in the Store, and nature crafts for kids of all ages.

Admission: Regular admission prices apply during the day. From 6-9:00 p.m., admission is FREE for everyone.

2017 Nature Nights Schedule

June 8 – Reptiles & Birds of Prey
The free family fun begins with an up-close look at predators who slither and fly — featuring presentations from experts and appearances from real live raptors and snakes.

June 15 – Habitats
Explore the ecology of Central Texas by learning who lives where and what makes an ideal home for critters and plants alike.

June 22 – Pollinators
If you ate something today, you probably have a pollinator to thank for it! Learn how bees, butterflies and other pollinators impact our lives.

June 29 – Water, Rocks & Mud
Looking for a reason to play in the dirt? Get down to earth to celebrate International Mud Day and learn about the ground beneath your feet!
