Gettin’ Figgy With It: An Ice Cream Making Workshop with Lick Benefiting SFC

Support the Sustainable Food Center and learn how to make delicious ice creams like a professional with Austin’s very own Lick Honest Ice Creams. Chef and Co-Founder Anthony Sobotik will lead the two-hour workshop, teaching participants how to make goat cheese ice cream with wine-soaked figs, featuring figs sourced from Urban Roots. Participants will get the chance to churn their own ice cream in groups and take home their very own handmade pint. The classes are co-sponsored by Becker Vineyards and Made In, and 100% of proceeds from the classes will benefit SFC.
The class will include:
– Hands-on ice cream making demonstration, with a pint-worth of ice cream participants can take home to enjoy later.
– Gifts cards to redeem for 1 pint at any of our locations.
– A recipe card so participants can replicate the experience at home.
– Wine by Becker Vineyards
– The chance to win premium cookware from Made In.
