Mothers’ Milk Bank at Austin (MMBA) invites the greater Austin business community to join a very special luncheon this Valentine’s Day. The event will feature guest speaker Jack Allen, who will discuss how corporate philanthropy contributes to the success of high-performing companies. Allen is a motivational speaker with a PhD in ethics and managerial psychology; based in Austin, he also oversees nominee vetting for the annual Ethics in Business & Community Award. During the event MMBA will also recognize supporters of the Milk Bank and present a special award to an individual community member who has exemplified the extraordinary selflessness of humans to help others in a time of need.

Babies born early need human milk to survive and thrive, however, their mothers often do not have the milk supply needed. The Mothers’ Milk Bank at Austin has been meeting that need for more than 18 years. Mothers’ Milk Bank at Austin is a non-profit milk bank whose mission is to save babies’ lives by providing prescribed donor human milk.
