Feeding Texas Presents the Lone Star Beer Texas Heritage Fest – Dallas

Feeding Texas presents Lone Star Beer Texas Heritage Festival returning to the Lone Star State in the summer of 2016. This year’s event is scheduled to come to Austin, San Antonio, Houston, and Dallas, this time on back-to-back dates June 30-July 3, bringing a unique and memorable experience with an array of music, food, and fun curated by the National Beer of Texas.
Tickets go on sale for each city on Thursday, May 19 at 10 a.m. (CST) at http://www.feedingtexas.org/heritagefestival.
The second annual event will welcome special guests Shovels & Rope, a husband-and-wife Charleston-based folk duo who has been building in popularity since merging their solo acts in 2008. Their sound will fit seamlessly into each night’s musical landscape full of moving vocal arrangements and stellar instrumentation brought to you by Texas artists like indie rock favorites Okkervil River, fronted by singer-songwriter Will Sheff. The festival is also excited to feature Delta Spirit vocalist and guitarist and recent Austin transplant, Matthew Vasquez, who has been busy touring surrounding the release of his solo album, Solicitor Returns; and a highly anticipated performance from San Antonio rock trio Girl in a Coma.

Saturday, July 2: White Oak Music Hall in Houston, Texas
Sunday, July 3: Aztec Theatre in San Antonio, Texas
The Feeding Texas presents Lone Star Beer Texas Heritage Festival will once again bring an assortment of delicious food options along with activities, arcade games, a photo booth, and more to be announced soon. Tickets for each date of the Festival are $10 (not including service fees), and proceeds from ticket sales will benefit Feeding Texas statewide network of food banks.
