El Banquete de las Flores en el Mas Alla (The Banquet of Flowers in the Afterlife)

[email protected] On Sunday, Nov. 8th from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., the Live the Language School, Mexic-Arte Museum and El Sol y la Luna invite the public to celebrate the Day of the Dead honoring Agustin Aragon Leiva and Mayan Princess Nicte-Ha. An ofrenda in their honor created by Kateri Aragon, daughter of Agustin and Nicte-Ha and granddaughter, Deidre Aragon is on exhibit and titled, “El Banquete de las Flores en el Mas Alla” (The Banquet of Flowers in the Afterlife). The celebration will feature delights including mole con zarzamoras, pastel de tres leches and aguas frescas. Patricia Vonne will perform songs from her latest album in Spanish, Viva Bandolera.
