Create Culture at The Chop Shop // ft. The Human Experience, Mindex, Zenturion, and Fractala
July 1, 2015 @ 9:00 pm - July 2, 2015 @ 2:00 am
Create Culture and Art Seen Alliance team up for the return of Create Culture at The Chop Shop ATX at EMPIRE. Each month we feature the best in psychedelic music and art in Austin! Our goal is to create a close-knit family of like minded people and to inspire creativity in whatever medium you use to express yourself.
We’ve been working to find a new space over the past few months and have found it Empire. We now have plenty of space to play. Hoops, flow arts, dancers, healers, vendors, and painters can now all share space with room to breathe.
This month we are trying something new with an interactive hour at the beginning of the night. Cara will be leading a Center Flow Yoga class from 9PM-10PM.
We are featuring Diego Zion as our featured artist this month.
This month we are proud to have The Human Experience – David Block, Mindex, Zenturion, and Fractālà.
“The Human Experience” is David Block’s principal project as a live electronic composer, multi-instrumentalist, producer. Listeners experience a delicious symphonic blend of prismatic soundscapes and sultry beats.
Mindex channels landscapes from a far off planet, whose creatures and inhabitants travel light-years to reach the listener‘s third eye. His complex abilities with sound production allow him to draw every shape, color and movement with it’s own unique character, taking form in melodic patterns, textured layers, and extremely detailed automations of modern synthesizers and effects to create a 4 dimensional topography for your mind to digest.
